⭐️ Swarm Markets Launches Tokenized Gold, Lending & Borrowing with MetaStreet

This news is hot off the press! Today Swarm Markets announced they’re the first issuer of tokenized gold on Plume Network, making the asset more accessible, liquid, but my favorite… portable.

The gold is custodied by Brinks so that’s safe. But the digital representation of that gold is now moveable meaning it can be used more effectively… such as users being able to borrow and lend against their tokenized gold holdings via MetaStreet - a partner in this announcement.

The added utility is what makes blockchain, specifically tokenization, so special. A lot of these processes are doable without a blockchain but it sure helps streamline when you take a static asset and give it more life.
