⚽️ Own a Football Club: Watford FC

Are you a football (soccer) fan? Have you ever wondered, “What would it be like to own a team”? Well here’s your chance! Republic and INX have teamed up once again and this time it’s for the tokenization of Watford Football Club (Watford FC)!

You may have heard of past examples such as Club Necaxa’s NFT back in 2021, selling 1% of the Liga MX soccer team. Well the Watford FC tokens are fungible, represent 10% of the team’s ownership, and are available to non-US & accredited US investors via Republic. They’re going for $15.95/ token with a $127.60 minimum investment… pretty accessible for fans worldwide!

Watford FC currently plays in the English Football League Championship. Once they get back on the Premier League however, that should increase income by ~$150M considering the TV rights, commercial opportunities, and increased fanbase. Aside from the potential profit, what’s the point of being an owner if it doesn’t come with perks?
Well this one comes with many and blockchain makes it easier to verify who owns how much equity, allowing for many more investors at lower investment minimums without the extra burden on the Club! 🍹 Make Money with Margaritaville: Only on RealT

Famous songwriter Jimmy Buffet inspired a chain of resorts, restaurants, and vacation rentals called Margaritaville in 2010 with the common theme being “casual luxury”. The Pensacola Beach hotel kicked off what would become the rapid expansion of this chain, leading to 20+ lodging locations today and another 20 or so in the pipeline.

RealT tokenized a cottage at Margaritaville in Orlando (8060 Dreamsicle) and now tokenized 2 more units in Panama! Located in Playa Caracol, near Punta Chame, these units each consist of 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and gorgeous views of the Chame mountains and easy beach-front access.

The common denominator? Both of these are pre-construction offerings. With this in mind, the RealT team has decided to deposit the funds into their RMM liquidity protocol where they’ll earn 6-20%. In the meantime, they’ll make a 10% deposit on each of the properties and distribute the remainder of the funds in stages.

Some of these stages include time after signature and resort completion, with the bulk of the disbursements coming at delivery. This is a great way to control the development of RealT’s new properties while having the money work for their investors via the RMM simultaneously. RMM distributions will be sent to token holders on a monthly basis with income distributions on a weekly basis once they begin.
